I recently browsed in the internet and found Chicken Burgandy recipe for holiday menu.
Chicken is a common food served in the holiday but we’ll make it more special with the holiday recipes of Chicken Burgandy. The ingredients for cooking the Chicken Burgandy are 1 lb boneless chicken breasts, 1 c flour mixed with salt and pepper, ½ c butter, 1 large sweet onion, 1 small can stems and pieces of mushrooms, 2 c hearty red Burgandy, 1 large can of plain tomato sauce, and 1 wide egg noodles.
Once you have got all the ingredients, you can start cooking the Chicken Burgandy. However, before start the process, you need to cut the boneless chicken in quarters. Now, you need to prepare a large electric fry pan to melt 1 stick of butter and add with chopped onions and mushrooms. Coat the chicken with the mixture of flour, salt, and pepper. After that, add the coated chicken into the pan after moving onions and mushroom to the sides of it. You can also add more butter if necessary. When the chicken turns golden brown, you can add Burgandy. Boil it for about 5 minutes before add a can of tomato sauce. Stir and let simmer for around 20 minutes. While waiting for the chicken and sauce simmered, cook egg noodles per package. When you have done it all, you can serve the noodles on plate and cover them with chicken and sauce. Now you are ready to have the special holiday menu on the dining table.
